LIGHT BRAND EXERCISE - BRISKET RULES
Branding on a budget
Small, local BBQ concept Brisket Rules didn’t have a budget to hire professional branding support in preparation for its second location opening inside a food hall. I helped them create the following with a bare-bones budget to create unified and recognizable visuals before opening.
Basic visual identity
Brisket Rules had already solidified its logo design, so I selected complementary colors, fonts, and illustrations to support the brand’s identity.
Menu Design & Marketing Collateral
I designed a simple menu incorporating Brisket Rules’ basic brand elements with emphasis on the most profitable and popular dishes.
In addition, I created basic marketing material such as discount cards.
Stall Design
Honoring the brand’s limited budget, I designed and sourced inexpensive vinyl to decorate their storefront at The Exchange Food Hall in downtown Dallas.
Menu Photography
I coordinated and oversaw Brisket Rules’ third-party menu photoshoot to ensure consistency and quality of visuals.
